Patrick Lanza and Lonnie Nutumya of Old Oraibi

When I decided to try and find origin of stone, I decided to place stone on cover of Hopi photo book by Susanne and Jake Page and photograph with poloroid camera. I had planed trip for months even rebuilding motor in old Ford truck (1969), and stay at lodge on secound mesa. Some how Dave S. talked me into bringing his ass along. Stopped in Payson to get gas and news paper (AZ. Rep.), started to read horoscope for Gemini, by Sydney Omarr June 19 1998, it read people have been looking for you, light shines bright, your spiritual vibrations are felt in dramatic fashion, stress courage. I had been there many time's as my parent's (another story) took every summer. Dave and I check into lodge and head out to see if picture has any meaning to any one starting on the infamous first mesa village of Walpi, (they boo'ed me in Polaca). From there to Hotevilla, stopping at every village on all three mesa's even staying in parking lot of lodge where many locales go for lunch, we finely head to Old Oraibi, two Hopi Kachina carver's are sitting on Patrick's porch carving Kachina's. I show them photo of stone, they ask me to come back in two hour's, go back to Walpi to show photo to more Hopi elders, no luck . We go on back to Old Oraibi to meet two Hopi men, Patrick say's follow me, we are taken to be shown hieroglyph Lonnie sayes no white man has seen, there is hieroglphy of stone and said Dave S. could never come back and I could live with them and offered me a home on Old Oraibi.
