"In God We Trust", how money works, the "Fiat" standard. What does this mean? I cast my lost wax art pieces with 99.9 fine silver, in doing so I'm waiting for silver to drop in price when ever I cast my pieces. After a few years of casting, I asked my silver vendor to explain to me, why I really never know from day to day the value of silver. Metals seem to move, price wise at their own rate, you can't say, well gas prices are going up, I better run down and buy silver from John. The "Stock Market" prices are falling better run and buy silver, all though it would probably be a good idea when things start to fall apart. The dollar is paper, with some faith based in it, I'll tie this up later. In, Germany during "Hitler's" short run, there money was taken around the world, when it seemed the end was near, now the money is worthless, printed on paper, just like the dollar, why? "Hitler" bought concrete for his bunkers from "Blue Circle Concrete" of "England", paper was OK then. Now, back to John the silver guy, John is 60 yrs. old and one of the most respected coin dealers in the area. Now John explained to what happen in 1933, at the end of "Prohibition", one day you could have "Gold' and not "Booze", next day, you could have "Booze", but not "Gold". The Government, mainly "President Roosevelt" turned that all around, with the "Great Depression" going on, he had a lot of power. Like "Bush" now with "Iraq" going on. All "paper" was redeemable at face value, before that day, after that day the "Government" told you what it was worth, just like that , money was just like all "Religions" faith based. "Fiat Standard" is, money, unbacked by any physical means, instead backed by future claims. "Faith Based" like all organized "Religion's", we just don't have nothing for you now, but bear with us, trust us, we're cool. Just lke that in one day, the "Goverment" took away all power for the individual. You are now just a part of the landscape. In "God" and "Goverment" you will trust us. Now, some how our hard earnings, are in our "Goverment" hand's and if they will be around or like "Hitler". Little by Little they take, bye #14
