"Can Native American History Be Trusted?"

When ever I do research for my blogs. Concerning Native American subjects. I always get the feeling. I'm being miss led. The stories always seem to be, too 'White' some how. When ever someone interprets, somebody else's thoughts. They can't seem to but help, get there own ideas. Twisted in amongst others words. And this is very true, about Native American history.

When the Americas, were being invaded by Europeans. The early explores were often accompanied by map makers, illustrators and writers. The map makers and illustrators, had there job to do. That was pretty much, a black and white thing. But the writers who were their. To report back the lives of the Native inhabitants. Well that could be left open to conjecture. The writers could have said, 'the Native Americans were a very spiritual being. Who live in side the laws of Mother nature.' Or they could have said. 'They were nothing but a group of savages.' That would have been entirely up to, the individual corespondent. Or the corespondent's words. Could have been changed later. To help the conquering European settlers, to clean house. By calling the inhabitants of North and South America savages. It would have been easy to convince the early settlers. That they must kill off the lower form of humanity. And to tell them. That they were dealing with inhumane savages. This way would have made it easy. For the early settlers conscience. After all, they where just helping humanity. Cleanse itself of unwanted humans (DNA).

To drive my point home. How many Native American history books? About the inhabitants of both North and South America. Were ever written by a indigenous person? My best guess would have been none. Maybe some later books. About the subject were written by locals. But they would of had to have been. Educated in there conquers schools.

Years ago when I first learned of the Hopi of Arizona. I like most others. Attain my knowledge of the subject from books. And like most if not all others. I believed what ever I'd read. Then I started visiting the Hopi. Then I started reading more and more about other Native Americans. As this process went on and on. Until this very day. I now go back and see just how me and others. Were being manipulated by the 'powers'. And those that they had write the books.

The history of Native Americans has been manipulated. And vast generalities have been used to describe each tribe. The fact is that in all Native American tribes. You have all these different Clans. And each clan has there own tale, about each tribes history. This can be seen greatly in the clans of the Hopi. You visit one village, they have there own tales of history. You visit another village. And it will greatly differ from another village. Then even in the villages. You have all these different clans. And each clan's stories have there own little twist.

Seems like every "Time" talk to another Hopi. I am be corrected, by a new version. Of an old Hopi tale. I've been told there are only three villages. That have true Hopi in them. Now I learn there are more than three. By another Hopi friend. My friends on Old Oraibi, they talk of the Ant People. Have a friend ask the elders in Hotevilla. About the Ant People. They claim they never heard of them. So just what is Hopi history? And what book about the Hopi can I trust?

Here are the most known books about the Hopi. First one is by Frank Waters called 'Book of the Hopi'. Second is called, 'Hopi Shrine of the Covenant, Microcosm of the World', by Dan Evehema. Third is 'The Hopi Survival Kit', by Thomas E. Mails. I want to quote from The Hopi Survival Kit.

'The liberators will come from the West with great force(China?). They will drop down from the sky like rain (Chinese?). They will have no mercy. We must not get on our house tops to watch. (How Hopi watch a Kachina Dances). They will shakes us by our ears, like children who have been bad. This will be the final decisive battle between good and evil. This battle will cleanse the hearts of the people and restore our Mother Earth from illness and the wicked will be got rid of.

The prophets dare say a peaceful (Get ready for this.) 'New World Order' will be drawn in Hopi land. The people will live under one "God" and leader (total NWO plan). We will speak one language, the Hopi. The Earth will bloom again.

If this fails to materialize, our Great Creator through Nature will do the task according to there plans. It could be total destruction in any form. Only brother and sister will survive to begin a new way.'

Next paragraph starts will 'Gourd Full of Ashes'. Meaning Atomic Bomb. In other words, you obey us. Or we will destroy all of mankind. Did the Hopi tales say this? Or was this the 'powers'? Re-inventing the Hopi tales. The state of Israel has stated. That if the World turns against them. They have enough nuclear bombs to destroy the rest of the World.

This is a perfect example of what I've written about. Like you see here. The Hopi history has been changed. To look more like a NWO idea. Than a peaceful Hopi plan. Of mankind living, 'hand in hand'. Next week I'll go further into this subject. Of just how all history has been manipulated for hundred if not thousands of years.

"God" bless on this Sunday evening. May you have sweet dreams with soft landings.

bye

well u make a very good point..even if you do ur own research, like youself. inerviewing the elders is ur best bet, though u kind of have to undersrtand that the elders are stingy with their knowledge. say for example in your case the "ant people" one might hint in this village, while in a different village one might say they never heard of it...thats how it is in the Dineh way too. thats how my grandparents r...thats how it is in the keresan villages too.. it depends if the informant is in any tribal society. sum stories of the emergence of certain groups or clans r really sacred du to the fact of the medicine, ceremony, language, etc. that was brought from that world, the in-between, then to this world..things that alot of people will not understand, like the dominant american society. who would only critisize it and call it a myth, when others like my self have faith and believe these events really happened... its very complicated..today the youngs ones r loosing faith it seems. so why teach someone who will not appriciate it? thats a complicated question and has a very complicated answer too...
