"Free All the People of Canada"

This article was written and sent to me by, Jonathan Mack. Mr. Mack is a Cree Aboriginal from Ontario Canada.

New government in Canada! Down with Harper and his regime!
(early draft)

Forming a new Constitution, Charter of Rights, and a Non-Monetary Democratic Government.

How can we (Sovereigns: Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal alike) make a new non-monetary democratic government?

For starters, we would have to abolish the Indian Act and then we would have to revoke the current treaties throughout Canada. (here's where I'm still researching on how that can be done)
Next, we would need to unite and establish a new constitution that would declare all Canadians and Aboriginals who were born and raised in Canada as a Sovereign people and are in right to the land and resources of Canada through sovereignty. After when that is done we would then have to organize, plan and form a consensus on what would be in the new Canadian Charter of Rights for all Sovereigns of Canada together. From there we would vote on what would be written into the new charter, but we would all agree that the charter would always take precedence over the government and that the government can never take precedence over the new charter no matter what. Next, we would then need to plan, organize, and form (again through vote) a new non-monetary democratic government and system established by the people and for the people. Newcomer, or current politicians, or people with political affiliations or influences would NOT be eligible for political positions within the new government.

What would be in this new Canadian Charter of Rights and how will it affect me?

From here I think that we can all agree on that it should contain fundamental declarations that would benefit everyone yet would also denounce and prevent certain undesirable and immoral acts, behaviors, and practices. For example: killing would be an immoral and undesirable act to the highest degree, bullying people would be an immoral and undesirable behavior, harassing or tormenting a specific people, group, or an individual based on skin color or look and/or teaching and enticing others to do so as well would be undesirable and immoral practices, and making addictive substances such as crack, cocaine, and heroin (except marijuana) would also be undesirable and immoral practices.
Here's a small example of what could possibly be in the New Canadian Charter of Rights:

Here's a small example of what could possibly be in the New Canadian Charter of Rights:

1. The Right to three square meals a day which has proper nutrition value and is adequately edible. (including snacks jk lol :P ..maybe?)
2. The Right to proper and adequate clothing.
3. The Right to proper and adequate housing.
4. The Right to a proper and adequate education.
5. The Right to proper and adequate healthcare.
6. The Right to proper and adequate transportation which includes local transit and city to city travel.
7. The Right to proper and adequate Means of Communication such as Public phone booths and Public email.
8. The Right to access proper and adequate information for personal, political, or historical research such as a library and Public Internet (standard speeds).
9. The Right to proper and adequate access to buildings, facilities, and public transportation which would also include elevators, escalators, stairs, ramps, and sidewalks.
10. The Right to full transparency from the government, and to all of its internal branches, which would include access to documents, minutes, transcripts, and personnel records.
11. The Right to be free of Racism, Hostility, Torment, Bullying, Coercing, segregation, and oppression.
12. The Right to equality regardless of skin color, disability, physical deformity, gender, or sexual orientation.
13. The Right to be free from Unlawful Suppression, Unlawful Detainment, Unlawful Seizure of personal property, and Unlawful Arrest.
14. The Right to free speech except if that speech infringes upon or violates another individual's or group's rights.
15. The Right to be free to practice religions, beliefs, traditions, and culture.
16.The Right to refuse contribution of time, labour and service if the contributor's rights are being infringed upon or violated by another individual whether it be publicly or privately.
17. The Right to refuse contribution of time, labour and service even if the contributor is capable of doing so.
18. The Right to own property that is earned through contribution which includes personal items, products, attire, a home, a plot of land, an electric vehicle, a seafaring vessel, and an aircraft.
19. The Right to live anywhere in Canada as long as the chosen site doesn't disrupt, infringe, or damage the surrounding environmental and natural wildlife processes, traditional lands, or some else's chosen site.

What would the new government be like?

The new government would be totally democratic in nature, be fully transparent to the people without exception and conditions, would never take precedence over the new Charter of Rights, would be a consensus platform for the people's vote on all matters including; the passing, revoking, and approving of laws, policies, structure placement in and outside of city limits, natural resource processing, etc, would uphold and be subordinate to the new Charter, and would be totally based upon a non-monetary system.

How can this new government and system, let alone a non-monetary one, even work?

Instead of Money there will be the New Contribution System which would have Roles replacing traditional Jobs, and there would be Sectors that would be known as the Public and Political Sectors. Within these sectors there would be divisions with Roles to be contributed to and, most importantly of all, it would be totally voluntary to contribute, and there would be no set obligation. Schooling would be a little different from the traditional schooling we know today, and there would still be the kindergarten, grade school, and high school system that teaches literacy, math, science, communication, and social skills. However, instead of Colleges and Universities there would be Divisions that offer schooling and training for which ever Role you choose in either the Public Sector or Political Sector. What is also very beneficial to the students is that it also includes hands-on Role placement training as well so that the student can get a feel to see if that Role is the one they want to contribute in. Each sector has many divisions with many different roles and each contributor in their division works closely together in organizing and planning towards contributions of time, labour, and service so that everyone can have time for their families, vacations, gatherings, events, etc.

What if I don't want to contribute?

Under this new Non-Monetary Government which would be based on and subordinate to the New Charter of Rights you would be rightfully entitled to basic yet proper and adequate amenities, sustenance, accommodations, attire, education, communications, transportation, etc. Since all of the basic entitlements are based for non-contributors you wouldn't really have anything to own, the clothes would be sort of standard issue, and the foods wouldn't be bland but you would probably want something different after awhile.
However, you get the utmost healthcare regardless even if you are not a contributor.

What if I want more than what the new Charter of Rights entitles me to?

To get more than basic entitlements you would have to contribute to the system and for that you can do it in two ways:
1. You can be schooled and/or trained for a Role in the Public Sector.
2. You can be schooled and/or trained for a Role in the Political Sector.
Each Sector and there divisions are considered an honorable and valuable commitment to society and each Role is equally respected for an individual is contributing their time, labour, and service for the benefit of all. When you contribute your time, labour, and service to a Role you get access from outlets that offer more than basic entitlements. This access would allow you to earn products and items for ownership and different services to enjoy which would include: different fashions of attire, fine dining and cuisine, internet and cable or satellite services (including cell), a broader selection of foods at the sustenance division, movie theaters, OLED TVs , Computers, vehicle and seafaring vessels, vacation travel, custom housing (you get to design your own house)and site placement (where you would want your house built in accordance to the charter), etc.
As you can see it isn't exactly a utopian society with a government and utopian system, but the rewards to be earned for being a contributor in this new society are real and many.
Also, you can be at peace of mind knowing that you will never be without food and water, never have to pay rent or a mortgage, never have to work long hours to get a decent paycheck, never have to pay for expensive surgeries or pay for medicine, and you will never again see a homeless person on the streets whether they be young, middle aged, or old.

What if I want to build a mansion far away from society and that I also want a big yacht?

Yes you can have a mansion and a big yacht, but you would have to earn it by contributing to the system. Your plot can be outside of city limits but it would have to be within reasonable distance and the chosen site would have to adhere to the Charter. It's a bit egotistical and unrealistic to have your site on a deserted island, in a far off underground bunker, or even high upon a mountain don't you think? However, under the New Canadian Charter and within Canadian borders (with possible future extensions), it could be done but who would want to contribute their time, labour, and service to those kinds of investments, demands, and lengths?

How would the incentives work in this non-monetary system, is there any at all?

The incentives would be to "earn" Access, Awards of Recognition and Achievements, and Ownerships through contributions of your time, labour, and services. By contributing you earn Access to a more wider and broader range of foods, services, and ownerships (items, devices, vehicles, etc). Awards for recognition and achievements are earned by "how much" time, labour, and services you have contributed to your Role and are presented accordingly. Ownerships are done almost the same way except that you start off with "standard" ownerships at first, and then after some time of contributing you earn access to ownerships that "show and reflect" how much time, labour, and services that you have contributed to society through your Role.
This is still a work in progress so let me know what you think for feedback is key, Thanks! :)
Perhaps this can be altered to work for Americans and Native Americans?
